Try the following manoeuvre: Turn your right foot in counter clockwise circle and without stopping this, start turning your right hand in clockwise circle. Can you do it? Without looking, we are confident that the answer is No. Your body isn’t made that way. Divergence and convergence represent a symbiotic pair of functions. They are fundamentally separate processes, distinct ways of thinking. Your mind isn’t here to do both at the same time. They should not be pursued simultaneously but rather iteratively.
