How did Nintendo, which started out as a playing card company change into a global leader in high-Tech video consoles? How did Tiffany and company go from a stationery company to selling high end jewellery? LG was launched as an industrial chemical manufacturer. What had to change inside the minds of its leaders in order for them to decide the earth at LG should become the innovative Hi-Tech appliances company it is today? They thought of new boxes. None of these companies could have undergone such radical transformations until their leaders significantly modified one or more of their basic assumptions.
